history
An experiment that broke free and escaped the Crystal Tower once it emerged, Persephone has no knowledge of her life before - not even her name, or her appearance before these aether experiments changed her. Persephone is a name that floated to her muddled and foggy mind, and so she took it - hiding away with her fellow experiments deep into the Black Shroud. They lived in harmony with the Sylphs, and casting glamour over their appearances - each one of them looking nothing like a normal Hyur. It was only during a bold venture into Gridania that Persephone found herself as Hydaelyn's chosen, soon casting aside her glamour as she was welcomed into the Scions.
Most of her adventures are initially her explorations of the world, killing Primals with little protest as it allowed her to explore the world freely - even if her appearance as incredibly shocking to most. Luckily she's the sort to easily adjust and go with the flow. Home was found within the snowy landscapes of Ishgard, practically claiming a room for her own in Lord Edmont's manor before she left - her visits to Ishgard are frequent and often. The liberation of Doma and Ala Mihgo hit hard, as a once prisoner with slowly returning memories of her torment under the hands of her experimenters. Does not like what Zenos is offering and is not surprised he didn't stay dead.
Her time in the First hit her the hardest. Finding herself changing once more, finding herself brought to a strange new world by her once prison... It was almost too much. Her growing bond with the Scions helped keep her steady, though she still struggles with her identity and just what she is now. Is still shaken after fighting 'Hades', considering the name that was on her mind when she first awakened so long ago.

Cheerful, unflinching, rarely seen without a smile on her face. Flirting comes to her as naturally as breathing. Under the smile is a sharp mind and a cunning that's willing to play dirty, if it benefits her or her friends. Further down is a woman unsure of who or what she is, and still struggles for an identity that isn't the Warrior of Light - her adventures in the First have only made this more of an issue.
